3. Game actions: fractals and loops in Virtual Reality Environments

Some Blender (Material Preview screenshots) of a prototype of game action by looping into bigger loops that progressively become in more complex Virtual Reality Environments.

These rendered Blender images shows how a gamer might act from local to global perceptions of Virtual Reality Environment states by following a fractal house path.

First Cutscene - Serious Game - Level 1- in Virtual Reality Environment

Establishing Shots for the first scene in the game level 1. A group of Master Closer Shots focuses on the detailed textures, materials, and game objects. This first game scene should allow the gamer to have a first glance at the game mechanics involved to figure out the first puzzle (open the front door).

First Cutscene - Serious Game - Level 1- in Virtual Reality Environment (Post-processing Effects

Establishing Shots for the first scene in the game level 1 rendered with some Unity post-processing effects such as ambient occlusion, anti-aliasing, bloom, chromatic aberration, motion blur, fog, depth of field, grain, vignette, and color grading (i.e., lift, gamma, gain). A group of Master Closer Shots focuses on the detailed textures, materials, and game objects in such an orangish game environment. This first game scene should allow the gamer to have a first glance at the game mechanics involved to figure out the first puzzle (open the front door).

Cutscene Xbot

XBOT is a humanoid who as an avatar gives to the gamer not only hints to solve game puzzles but also action modeling to figure out the game mechanics in each game scene. The gamer action performed by XBOT is following Task Analysis dynamics. These game dynamics are being modeled as intentional states performed into game action shown step-by-step what to do for solving the garage’s puzzle.
